Cancelation Policy

  • More than 30 days before the pickup or delivery date: 100% refund

  • 30-10 days before the pickup or delivery date: 50% refund

  • 9-0 days before the pickup or delivery date: no refund

Cake Pick-Up Instructions

  • Generally, your cake will be packaged in a sealed box (with the exception  of larger cake that might come with an open box covered with a clear bag)

  • Cakes need to be transported on a flat surface such as the back of a van, station wagon or SUV. It is also possible to transport 6 or 8 inches cakes in the floorboard of most cars. In all cases make sure your cake doesn’t slide back and forth during normal driving

  • Driver must take extreme caution, keeping the vehicle level at all times, especially when turning corners, and must avoid any sudden acceleration, cornering or aggressive braking

  • Please clear (and clean if needed) in advance the area of your vehicle where the cake is going to be transported

  • Under no circumstances should a cake be transported on a vehicle seat. (It is also highly discouraged also to transport your cake on someone’s knee/lap)

  • Please run your air conditioning before your pickup until your car’s interior is cool

  • Allowing pets to be in the car during a cake transport is strongly discouraged

  • Please adhere to the agreed-upon pick up time

Upon Arrival

  • Please remember that cakes are covered with buttercream. Upon arrival at the event venue, please keep your cake in the fridge until 2 hours before cutting the cake (if room temperature is cool) or 1 hour before if the room temperature is warmer. If the temperature is over 24℃ your cake should be kept refrigerated until 30 minutes before eating it (be sure to set up the cake away from sunlight)

  • Be sure to set up the cake away from sunlight (and away from anywhere sunlight might move to)

 Large Cake (2 and 3-tier) Pickup Disclaimer​

When opting to pick up your wedding or specialty cake instead of having it delivered you understand that transporting this type of cake requires all of the above pre-arrangements, and you agree to prepare your vehicle in advance accordingly. Two-tier cakes approximately 8 to 10 kgs and 14 to 16 inches tall. Three-tier cakes approximately 18-22 kgs and 21 to 25 inches tall.

You acknowledge that once you have picked up your cake, Nany’s Cakes cannot be held liable for any damage or failure that may occur once the cake leaves our premises or during transport, handling, set up or display. Once you have the cake, it is your responsibility to transport it directly to the event venue and not leave it unattended in your vehicle or anywhere outside.
